Enjoy Colder Drinks and for Longer All Summer Long

The Texas heat during summer can be a lot to handle depend on the temperature, heat index and humidity levels. This year has been different, to say the least, where we are spending more time indoors but the heat is still quite demanding. One of the ways to stay cool, hydrated and refreshed is to increase fluid intake. During the hot days it’s nice to enjoy lemonade and drink a few cocktails during the evening but one of the frustrating things we’ve found is dealing with watered down drinks.

A simple fix we found out about was getting a set silicone ice ball makers that conveniently makes both spheres and large ice cubes to keep your drinks colder and for a longer period of time. They are made of high quality silicone material that is very durable and can easily be handled to pop out the ice cubes when they’re ready. You get a total of six spheres and 6 cubes all of which are great for various cocktails, mojitos, frozen lemonade, orange juice and much more.

We tried out different techniques and found that using hot water (make sure it’s cooled down first) will result in clear ice balls and ice cubes. Make sure to allow the trays to freeze completely before removing (about 5-6 hours or maybe more depending on your freezer temperature), otherwise, you run the risk of the spheres and cubes breaking. Sometimes it can be a bit of a pain to remove from the molds but you can easily fix that by running some hot water along the back before popping them out. For an additional pop of color, try adding slices of lime, lemon and strawberries.

Here are some of the things that I really like about this product:

  • Made of high quality, BPA free silicone material that is easily manageable and also dishwasher safe
  • It has a high tolerance for temperature handling up to 446℉
  • Helps keep your favorite drinks colder and much longer – so no more watered down drinks!
  • It’s a great crowd pleaser at parties this summer!

I’m not a fan of watered down drinks and have always been looking for a simple and convenient solution to keep my favorite drinks colder without having to invest in expensive chillers. I’ve found these cubes to fit the “mold” for what I have been looking for this summer!
